Phoebe is an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle in 2012, before completing a Masters of Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy from LaTrobe University in 2019. Phoebe is currently working full time at West Coast Health & High Performance (@westcoasthealthhp), is the Head Physio for Subiaco Lions WAFL (@subiacolionsfc), Western Roar WANL (@westernroar) and Wesley College Rugby Program. As a member of the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia Network, she’s looking forward to tour internationally soon.
Phoebe has dabbled in research, presenting her paper “Predisposing risk factors for Hamstring and Quadriceps muscle strain injuries” at the World Congress of Physical Therapy, Australian Physiotherapy Conference and Sports Medicine Australia Conference. Phoebe is still considering a comeback to the research world!
Outside of Physiotherapy, Phoebe enjoys training and competing in both short & long course triathlon, recently qualifying for the 70.3 Age Group Worlds in St George, Utah. Before triathlon, Phoebe was a keen basketballer, playing SBL (now NBL1) and competed at a State and National level in 29er & 49erfx sailing, including a couple of World Cup appearances.
