Ellen Paterniti is a Physiotherapist who has devoted her time to working with professional, pre-professional and recreational dancers and performing artists in Perth.
Ellen chose to pursue a career in Physiotherapy, drawing on her experiences as a dancer with a vision to help other dancers with rehabilitation, injury reduction strategies, classical technique, and overall improved wellbeing.
In addition to being the owner and principal Physio at Perth Dance Physiotherapy, Ellen is also working as part of the Physiotherapy & Wellbeing team for the West Australian Ballet Company. She has also worked alongside WA’s flagship contemporary dance company, Co3, and Black Swan Theatre Company on a multitude of shows over the last seven years.
Ellen has a strong interest in treating lower limb injuries within the dancer population and combines this with her passion for strength & conditioning to encourage dancers to step into a gym and lift heavy things!
Ellen is very excited to take everyone backstage (literally!) and allow you to peer behind the curtain into the world of dance and performing arts.
