Brett is the practice principal at Cottesloe Sports Physiotherapy, having opened the doors of his business on Stirling Highway in 2004. Prior to this he worked at Fremantle Physiotherapy Centre and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He is well known for his work with elite sporting teams, having worked with the Australian Swimming Team since 2006. He was appointed as one of the Physiotherapists to the Australian Olympic Swimming team in Beijing (2008) and Rio (2016), and worked as the team Physiotherapist for the Australian Olympic Kayak Team in London (2012).
Brett has a strong interest in treating the Sporting Shoulder and has regularly lectured on this topic. He is also a Curtin University School of Allied Health Associate, where he supervises and examines Masters of Sports Physiotherapy students.
He has also had a long association with Surf Life Saving, following in his father’s beach sprinting footsteps. In the 90’s he won back to back National Beach Flags titles and World titles in the Beach Flags and Beach Relay. He still loves to keep fit with running, gym work and coaching at the surf club.
He lives with his four gorgeous daughters, wonderful partner Tegan and their dog Harvey.
