Dr Leesa Equid

Leesa is an Emergency Specialist who works at Joondalup Health Campus ED and the WA Country Health Service Command Centre, coordinating both aeromedical and road retrievals across Western Australia. She is also undertaking her DDU Ultrasound Fellowship at SCGH on a part-time basis. Previously, Leesa worked as a Retrieval Doctor for RFDS from 2019-2022 while also working as an Emergency Specialist across Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital ED and Joondalup Health Campus ED. When not at work or teaching on a course you can normally find Leesa at the beach - an avid surf lifesaver, Leesa sits on the SLSWA State Board of Directors and commits a lot of time to competition, member education and providing lifesaving services at Swanbourne beach.
