Dr Casey Whife

MBBS (Hons), FACSEP, MPhil, IOC Dip Sp Phy

Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, Casey commenced his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 2006, graduating with Honours in 2012. He spent his years as a junior Doctor between Royal Perth Hospital, Bunbury Regional Hospital and Midland Hospital, but pitch/field/court-side was always where he really wanted to be. Casey was accepted into registrar training with the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP) in 2017 and was admitted to the College as a Fellow in 2021.

Casey has also completed a Master of Philosophy by research through UWA investigating the role of neuroplasticity in musculoskeletal and burn injury and continues to actively pursue research in this area. Casey completed a Diploma of Sports Medicine with the International Olympic Committee in 2017.

Casey currently practices at SportsMed Subiaco and is a Team Doctor for the West Coast Eagles and Perth Wildcats.
